Modern smart locks from Yale and Schlage use AES-128 or AES-256 encryption - the same standard banks use. Brute-forcing that encryption would take longer than the age of the universe. The real security risk with locks is weak PIN codes (0000, 1234) or leaving Bluetooth in pairing mode. We configure every lock with strong codes, auto-lock timers, and firmware updates.
